Located north of Boulder, this straw bale home was designed for, and built by an active board member of the Colorado Straw Bale Association.  Following the project, Mark and architect Brian Fuentes spoke with KGNU regarding straw bale construction. Triple pane windows optimize solar performance, while earthen plasters soften the edges.
